It looks like we will campaign our F2 race boat again this year.I am excited to go out and win with it.The boat is running very fast and I feel we can win allot of races this year.

Also there should be quite a few Panteras racing in the performance classes.

That I know of :

Carrabbas - Todd Blythe
Albert My Pantera 28
Scott Begovich
Jerry Memboli
Bruce-Simply Awesome
Friendship 1
John Franco
F2-71 Pantera Racing
Treadwell racing in Super V

And possibly a few others

Regards,

JO

JO:

I read where the powers that be wanted to reduce the engine size from the 525EFI in a few classes. Is this true?

Also, what do you think of the SOB class? It seems to be getting more people interested in racing.

Hi Ron,

From what I hear the rules will remain the same for this year.So the 525 EFIs will be our choice of power since we got the boat dialed in allready with them and the boat is plenty faaast.

I think the SOB classes will be a great way to get started in offshore racing without spending a whole lot of $$$. I personally would not have the time to travel to the NorthEast to campaign an SOB boat but would be very interested in working closely with a race team that would want to campaign one.We could offer factory support and special pricing to a race team.Wouldn't mine getting in there and racing a race or two if someone would be intersted in working together with us.

Ron are you game ?? Full Throttle 2.5 ??

Treads but has not been started yet, soon.

Wildthing:

It's a single outboard class not twins. Either I get a single engine for this baby or you can take the starboard side oar. Either way, I don't think we'll come in first. Tops would be second to the last if someone gets vapor lock on startup. And only if the course is 1/32nd of a mile. Downwind would be a plus also. Most people would consider that as ideal race conditions.

I'd have to change my logon to 'Full Throttle .25'

LOL
