Re: Hey Full Throttle 525

Hey Guys:

JO sent me these pics on Monday. I'm sure I'll get the call any day now. I'm hoping I get it before the 4th.

Hoping to be boating soon

Ron

Hey B:
Spoke to Linda the other day and she said the bow & cockpit covers were snapped in place and the snap-in carpet was also. She said the blue cover looked great! Swim platform was in place, lift for engine hatch completed and Sun pad affixed. No confirmation on delivery yet. Still hoping before the 4th of July. Will keep everyone posted.

Wow, FT 525 sounds like you have had an interesting boat building experience. Having been through a similar experience with another custom South Florida builder, I would highly recommend being present for or requesting a shake down trip with the owner of the company in your new boat. Go through every system throughly to insure you know each system works and that you understand how each system works.

If it took this long to get your boat built, it will take just as long or longer to get things fixed after you get it home unless you do it yourself. So get as much of it out of the way now while they have it at the factory.

I am not slamming Pantera, I think this is how this industry works and you need to protect yourself.

FULL THROTTLE
NICE!!! She looks really good. In agreement with h20warrior, I too had a "more than interesting" new boat buying experience with a local boat builder . A lot of down time when things could of, should of been taken care of. My hull was ordered in SEPT., completed in NOV, sat idle thru April when interior wasn't even started yet. After lighting a fire again , I had the trailer hooked up to my truck in May as seats were still being bolted in! You should be happy in the end. I am.

Thanks for your input h20warrior and SUPERBASH.

On monday I'm planning on talking to the family to see when I need to make arrangements for a sea trial and go over the boat. Judging by the below pic I received yesterday, the boat looks great and I'm close to rockin' & Rollin'.

Your new boat is absolutely gorgeous!I can't wait to see her up close.
I'm getting an idea for a new full cover too.
Hey Fullthrottle,
A bunch of us from the CT river area are meeting some boyz from LI at Claudio's in Greenport on July 10 if you want to join.
Looks like your ready to rock and roll!

Hey Patrick...

I'd really like to meet everyone at Greenport but I need a more sea worthy boat than this one:

If JO has my boat finished I could make the 10th. Will let you know.

Thanks for the invite.
