I too had a Pantera built new, and yes it took longer than I thought. I could not be happier though. Here is a couple reasons other than the obvious. I show up at the factory and I see Jo and Pepe staring at boat and talking. I walk over and they are discussing my switch panel and how it looks. After 2o minutes of throwing around ideas, they decide to change it.
I walk in another time and there is what looks like to me a big wooden rowboat on my boat. I ask Pepe and he said he is building a mold for a fibreglass windscreen. He has never done the molded windscreen on my style 24 and I was going to be the first boat done that way.
It is an incredible improvement over what I thought I was getting. (All this is done at no extra cost by the way)
While my boat was being built, I indicated my desire to race P class and Joe and Pepe talked to me for hours about racing and I learned a ton from them. When I raced mt first race in Marathon, I was the only Pantera in the race and the entire Nunez family drove down to watch the race and hung out at my boat the whole day.
That same scenario was repeated when I raced the Worlds in St Pete.
I could go on and on but my point is:
Whether your spending a small amount of $ with them like myself or dropping a large amount for a 36, they put a ton of time, effort, and thought into ever little detail of every boatand that burns time.
I have been stopping by the factory often in the 3 years since I purchased my boat, and every single time they drop what they are doing to show me the newest boat they are building or a new idea they had.
Just last week I walked in and got a tour from Pepe showing me the new paint on a 36 and the custom engraved tabs going on all new Panteras. Joe has offered to come and spend a day testing with me when the new engine goes in. They just put a new interior in my boat at cost, they built me a race hatch for free.
I am just one customer who has taken up a lot of valuable time on their dime. They treat everyone who walks in the door like that so I don't know how they have time to ever get a boat done.
Don't get me wrong, we had our moments and a few little spats along the way. In the end, I know the decision I made was the right one. I am much more than satisfied with my experience, I love the boat, I have gained the Nunez family as friends, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat when I am ready.

Still no complaints from Pantera owners! I'm not surprised

In any event, I believe that my boat will be finished shortly and I definitely know that it will be worth the wait.

Okaaaay... that's better. You've managed to get the syntax and grammar more or less correct, but unfortunately the context still leaves a smidge to be desired. As in, what in God's name are you talking about? Note: that applies to both of your most recent posts....
