You're my hero! I'm not sure what the number of hours you put on your boat, how often you build a motor, or how many poker runs you've attended have to do with the subject of the thread (or with me, for that matter - last time I checked, this thread was entitled "Hey Full Throttle 525", not "B-Stubb wants to hear interesting things about dockrocker's boat but we're not sure why"), but if posting about that sort of thing cocks your six-shooter, more power to ya.

I'm going to assume, since I've never questioned Pantera's "biz", let alone debated it, that you're directing those comments to someone else (hint, putting the screen name of the poster that questioned Pantera's "biz" might help you get a response).

And again I ask, what does that have to do with this thread? Maybe you should start a thread in General Discussion about whether people have boats or not? In fact, send Steve a note, maybe he set proof of ownership as a condition for purchasing memberships!

OK folks, new rules - per B-Stubb, no replies to a thread about custom boat delivery unless you own a boat. How are these two issues related, you ask? Well, the phrases "custom boat delivery" and "own a boat" both have the word "boat" in them. I hope I've captured the relevent points as succinctly as Mr. Stubby.

Um, OK. Let's recap, shall we? This thread was started to discuss some purported issues with Pantera's performance re: delivery dates. A lively discussion about this issue was in progress when you posted something (?) about a boat being tuna'd or some damn thing - still not any clearer now than when you originally posted it. At the time, I asked for a clarification of your comments. My post was intended to be tongue-in-cheek; perhaps it did not appear that way to you, but that is unknown from your subsequent posts. You responded with yet more confusing posts and frankly irrelevent claims as to what you do or do not do with your boat/engines/poker runs, etc etc. In addition, you started in on me regarding whether or not I currently own a boat.

Now, Stubby, in your latest post you talk about "Ron" - since I have no idea who this person is, I'm going to assume that it has some relation to the topic of this thread (though your past posts leave significant room for doubt in this area, but I digress...).

Let's see if I can put it succinctly:

1. Your post re: boat tuning (your boat?) have no obvious relevence to the discussion at hand, whether or not Pantera has or had a problem delivering boats "on-time".
2. You declined or were unable to clarify this comment, instead responding with more gibberish about the number of times you've rebuilt an engine and how many hours you have in a boat. Unless you're Pantera's engine building, I'm not making the connection to the whole delivery-date subject.
3. In similar fashion, I'm not sure what attacking me has to do with the thread subject, other than perhaps a Clinton-esque ploy to divert the thread?
4. Ditto the comments on whether I currently own a boat or not. Not real sure how this is relevent to the discussion, unless you are implying that I have a Pantera on order and it has not been delivered yet? Subtle, but I'll have to say that such is not the case; no Pantera on order for me, thus no possibility of a missed delivery date and no relevence to the subject of this discussion.
5. Again - I'm sensing a pattern here - I fail to understand how the location of "Ron's" house and your ability to speak to him on the telephone ties in to this thread, but I'm willing, even eager, to be enlightened.

Maybe I'm just a dumb ol' redneck, but I just can't seem to connect the dots as outlined above - since B-Stubb is apparently unwilling or unable to do so, anyone else want to take a shot? Bueller?

Hey dockrocker:

I don't know you either, but apparently you have upgraded yourself from Unofficial Ball-Buster to Official Ball-Buster...Congratulations!!

Now, could you please easeoff your Ballbreaking on B-Stubb or Stubby as you prefer to call him. This thread was orginally started by an observation from a fellow OSO member relative to the delivery of my boat. Although some of us may have difficulty putting into words what they are thinking, it doesn't necessarily mean that we don't know what we are talking about.

For example, Stubby was referring to his ability to take an engine & boat combination that originally ran at 73 mph and with his ability now runs 85. This is his way of saying, which he should have just come right out and asked you, what knowledge do you personally have of offshore powerboating, engines, props, Pantera or any other manufacturer for that matter? And, what contributions can you offer to the Thread? FYI..I personally don't care whether people on this board use proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc...to get their point across.

You had posted to Stubby's comments, but never commented on the just of the post itself. So in his way, I believe, he wanted to know if you know anything, anything at all besides Ball Busting. I do not believe we should continue any further conversation relative to someone's inability to communicate as effectively as you would like. I know you'll respond to this and wouldn't expect anything less.

Fire away.... Me You

Ron
