I have to say, not because I'm affiliated with the SPBA, but because the start at the Watkins Glen end was incredible. This was the brain baby of our V.P. and it was AWESOME! We had 63 boats lined up side by side, I went across the lake in front of everybody (Braveheart Style) swung around the end and up through the middle at which point everybody took off. All I could see on either side of me was boats hauling a$$! When you looked behind all you could see is a wall of mist. Seneca is nearly a mile wide and we spread out perfectly over the entire width. Just imagine 30 + boats on EACH SIDE!! People that were watching on shore said it sounded Amazing. Sorry to ramble but I'm glad I was part of it! It won't be forgotten any time soon! I can only imagine what it's going to sound and look like next year when we have 100 Boats! I would love to share pics but honestly I was as excited as a kid in a candy store....also a little nervous.
