Sorry for your misfortune, hope everything works out well. It was an ugly day, cold and windy, not a big turn out. I only know for sure what I ran, not sure who was the fastest for the day.

I thought I stood it up once, which was more than enough. My brother stood his up before he broke his drive. It was a strange sensation, kind of like slow motion, not a desirable situation.

GPM,

I know how fast you have run and I am just wondering more about standing the boat up. Did you hit a wave wrong or was it a combo of too much trim, speed and running into the wind? Just trying to learn something here. My cat is not nearly as fast as yours, but it is smaller so it may get to acting scary at slower speeds. It isn't every day that you hear of a 26' cat threatening to blow over even at extreme speeds!! Do you run tunnel tabs? Thanks for the info!

Craig, it was a combo, the water was rough, the trim was just a little high, and I was running into the wind. I backed out of the throttle and it settled back down. Not something I would want to do again. I was only going 123 when it happened. I ran tabs on my 22 Daytona, I didn't like them.

Would have been fun, late in the day after the wind and water settled.
