We take a 42 fountain with trips up there to test run it and not only is the lake to short but you get crowded by other boaters wanting to look at it since they don't get to see to many of them. Putting a 42 on Alum is like putting a catfish in a goldfish bowl

Dave, I dont thing anyone really ever stays anywhere, they just show up for the day and go home, however if some of you were interested in staying the nigh before or the night after I would gladly offer my services as a barhopping guide for the night.

Last year a few of us stayed in the Polaris area. Well lit, more secure for the boats (and my car ) and plenty of restaurants with bars for those of you who like to drink

Polaris area sucks for bars.

Besides that, theese people especially Glassdave like "other" kinds of bars

Dockside Dolls, Sierens, Columbus Gold....ect....

If any of you roundheads decide to come to Columbus for a night of partyin on the town Il point you in the right direction.

Is Caesars (Crazy Creek) Creek doing anything this year.
I think it's usually the 1st week in Oct.
Sounds like some great hardware is going to be at Alum this year.
