My charts and GPS are on the boat for exact mi. but , from trips to all but the Sun, Old Saybrook to Greenport is about 25 miles, Greenport to Block is around 35-40, and Block to The Sun has got to be another 40 mi. There could be some big water on the run from Block to The Sun, in the afternoon. Great photo ops.

Kitten- I usually don't head down that way. Most times I run out to Claudios, Ballards, and Montauk once and a while, for a short trip we moor off the Pavilion in Old Lyme. I'm on the CT river.
What are some of the destinations down that way?

It would be cool if he ran in the event even if they didn't sponsor since it's right in their back yard. It's not just Ocean's it is a sanctioned Poker Runs America event. The more sponsors the better.

Guilford is a sleepy little harbor
near Faulkners Island Lighthouse.
They don't even like our leaf blower!

dont forget the stone house and its neighboring waterfront bar (that keeps changing names) down in guilford harbor..... we're out of branford...sam's has new owners, the thimbles sure are sleepy, and even i can't stand a whiny one cylinder motor .....
thank god that this year there will be a few bajas and a fountain to join the foray with our sutphens in branford!!
