Jacksonville "It's Poker Run Time"

Re: Jacksonville "It's Poker Run Time"
My trip there is in jeapardy I've been tracking something on my engine and now sure that I'm getting oil in my antifreeze tank (525). Taking it to an experienced auto mech friend to do some testing (pressure and leakdown tests) but based upon other's opinions, I have a headgasket issue and I'm being told this would be an 800 dollar repair and since I'm on a budget, that will put me out. Running the boat as is probably is not a good thing even though I haven't had any real problems with the engine (has been a little sluggish though as of late, thought it was the heat) Hoping to find a quick and cost effective solution to this so I can at least run Fri and Sat. (mom lives there so I'll forego the hotel expense). If Bill Sr. is reading this, I was looking for your number tonight but could not find the piece of paper that I had with it on it. I don't know if your mech guy you had with you, Kevin I think his name was, could be of any assistance. I can always help with the labor since I have some leftover mech skills from back in the day. I really enjoyed meeting you guys and have been planning on this for a good while. So Bill, if you see this one, my cell is 407-325-5756....Hoping to see you guys. (now where's that "finger crossing" smiley?)

You're too much Greg!!! Thanks for the offer Chris, might need some help this weekend with it.
I pressure tested the cooling system and it checked out. Put 12 lbs on it and it stayed. Then did a chemical block check as well and it passed that. someone chimed in that if 2 different types of antifreeze get mixed in, it could do this as well. I'm just going to change fluids and sparkplugs this weekend and give it a test run and see if I see any changes or leaks. I'll make my decision Sunday if I'm coming or not.
