I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the 12th Annual 2006 Oshkosh Thunder Poker Run, and congratulate the participants for the professionalism shown. We put another positive notch in Extreme Powerboating and Poker Run safety in Wisconsin. Great job! Thank you for another safe and successful event.

Fastest boat was another Scism hull. Brad Zastrow had fun with the pack in his 39 MTI with 1400's. Both helicopters backed off at 135. Not far behind was Ferryman's 32 Skater nipping at Brad's heels. Some awesome V-Hull entrys included Revolution Marine's 50 Hustler with (3) SIX drives that ran 110 plus all day on 4 footers, Shogren's 38 Fountain Lightning with the all new Mercury Racing 700 EFI's with NXT drives running a solid 105 plus all day, plus the Formula/Mercury Racing 38 with 600's running in the upper 90's. Other notable and impressive entries that were among the top five from time to time were Joe Mattioli (American TV) in his consistent 35 Fountain running mid to high 90's and Andy Howitt (ShipYard) in a brand new 38 Donzi, also running in the 90's.
