I spoke with several people and some broke,but most said it was too rough.I was out there (not in the run) and I'll tell you there were some deep holes I'd say easily in the 5-7ft range at times.

We rode from Holland to Grand Haven in a 38 Scarab and what a blast.Lots of air time, My wife however said differant !!!! No more rides like that unless we are in Our Cary 50. ( she is such a sissy ) We only stuff'ed it once, the water was quit cooool !!!! Watching the Big Boy's blow by us coming into Grand Haven was way cool, we saw alot of the under sides of all the poker run boats. and getting past by them when we were flat out (60-70 mph) and they were 140+ was awsome... Next year I'm going to enter the Cary.....???? I think I'll need gas in each card stop, but what the heck....

Fast Forward

So what do you do with the cards for the boats that don't make it to the stops? I'm assuming they hand them all out at the end of the run?

Marc, when will you have a teaser on the web site? I'm assuming with the rougher water this year it will be full of air time.

And what no one seems to mention, whatever the final turnout or "count" was, the kids still won. The event raised almost as much money for make-a-wish as last year. Talk about digging a little deeper in a emergency energy state, with broken boats to boot. Now thats what I call class!!
