Anybody know if the event at Tims1 "Roar at the Shore" the weekend of September 30th is worth going to?

I have been before. Its usally a well attended event, but its a little red-necky at times depending on which crowds show up; particularly by land. As far as boats, its normally the usual suspects that hang out at Tims1 and Tims2 and the other northern Potomac hangouts.

I know they have had some problems up there and I haven't seen a lot of talk about the event this year, didn't want to make the trip for nothing.

I think they have bands all weekend at Tim's Rivershore in Woodbridge. There are supposed to a bunch of different events including Bikini contests. Not sure of the details though, I think its just thier end of the summer party.

We won't make this years. Have been to some in the past. Good times, but things have changed and we really don't like going there anymore.

You've noticed that too? There is a certain group that shows up that is unappealing to me..... I had enough when the drunk guy was pissing off the dock in front off small childern.
