Jacksonville River Rally Poker Run
http://www.jaxriverrallypokerrun.com/
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It’s that time of year again! The birds are chirping, the sun’s getting hot and there is a rumble being heard down on the river.
The above link says it all, Jacksonville Police / Fire Fighters River Rally Poker Run.
This is the SIXTH Annual poker run put on by Bill Pyburn and his team of poker run professionals. Including Stu & Jackie Jones of the Florida Powerboat Club along with Mike & Michelle doing one of the best DVD’s and still photo helicopter shoots you will ever see in an event.
June 7-10th 2007
Once again you can expect up to three days of fun in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida.
The 7th is a great day to arrive and get settled in at the Jacksonville Jaguars Football Stadium Marina and in the luxury of the Hyatt Jacksonville river front hotel. Then make the short walk from the hotel to the landing for the evening’s festivities.
The 8th is always a great day for a cruise to beautiful St. Augustine. With usually 40 plus boats making the trip it is a lot of fun and really gets you pumped up for the big run on Saturday. Getting make to the stadium marina after the day trip is VERY exciting. Things are coming to life, vendor displays are up, the marina is hustle and bustle with people and the band is playing. But don’t forget the FREE, yes FREE beer and chicken wings Friday night at the marina compliments of “Fast Boys Wings”. There ain’t no better wings then Fast Boys.
Swimwear Fashion Show at the Landing!
SATURDAY – June 9th
Poker Run Day
There is a new schedule on the card stops this year to make the run more enjoyable, but the lunch stop is still at the World Famous “Outback Crab Shack”. The food is fantastic, and there is nothing better then a 1200 foot long dock with 150 performance boats there at one time enjoying some of the best food in Florida with the band playing!
This run will soon be known as the big one if it keeps growing at this rate. With 80 boats the first year and over 150 boats last year you know it has to be a great event. It is the best value for the dollar you will find in a poker run. All dockage is free, and the first 80 boats have slips inside the marina. There is secure storage for your trailer during the event at no additional fee. You have bands playing three nights, free food two nights, and more excitement then the law allows. The marina is very close to the Arlington launch ramp and the ramp is good for all boats.
Did I mention there are SPECIAL rates at the Hyatt for all poker run participants? Be sure and book your hotel room early and tell them you will be in town for the Poker Run. There are standard rooms at very low rates, and river front rooms are just twenty dollars more per night.
Whether you have done this event every year, or this will be your first, you will find it to be a wonderful experience. Book early, tell your friends and come ready to have a fun and safe weekend.
Life Vest required for all boat passengers, and captain must wear a kill switch lanyard. Remember, safety first and we will all have wonderful memories to look back on.
As always there are many awards and nice prize packages for the three best hands of the event.
But most importantly it is for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation. http://www.tcjayfund.org
Check out the site and we will see you in June!

Nice photo's RoadKing.
There are a lot of really nice folks that so=how up at this event. With the marina, hotel, landing, waterways and people you have a great combination for a poker run. That is why it has become one the the biggest and the best on the Southeast.
Glad to see you are coming BillR. It will be good to see you again.
