Loosen up a little bro. You mean to tell me those 40 ft. cats, etc aren't going to exceed 60 mph. PLEASE. I know your trying to do your part and keep everyone safe and not ruin it for next year, but you are sadly mistaken if you think everyone is going to stay under 60 mph. Were you there last year, or the year before that. Boats were buzzing by my house in the middle of the lake well over 90, and i didnt see any lights in sight. Sure, for people who want to buzz through the narrows over 60 be my guest, you will get caught. But for everyone else it wont be a problem. Im just stating the truth

Last year was last year. In fact, the run made it into the patrol yearly report, and they were NOT happy. ( http://www.lgpc.state.ny.us/pdf/2006...l%20Report.pdf) see pages 7-8.Thats why Bob had such a hard time getting permission to run this year. If they want to run at 90, then they should stay home, because the LGPC will clamp the lid on any future runs.

Yes, I'm well aware of what we can do on what parts of the lake during the rest of the year. and I know where the patrol will look the other way. They aren't going to be looking the other way this weekend. In fact I believe that Bob posted that the patrol would be running with the run this year to make sure everyone ran the agreed upon limit of 60.

Great to know Thanks. I just don't see any patrol boat running in the mix, unless they were undercover or something which would be just wrong. I know they talk up a big game, but when it comes down to it I just don't see them being able to enforce such a thing with so many boats. Anyway, thanks for the info, hope everything goes smoothly and they welcome everyone back next year.

Took a bunch of pics today, about 130-140, and will post them when we get back.

I'm sure Sharkey will have a lot too.
