pretty sure its a different Martin. I couldnt imagine him in a V-hull . My Dad made an informal toast to Martin at the end, he was there in memory for sure.

The Martin in the yellow fountain is Martin Bischoff, he ran 76 and change. I am just one of the crazies that is all ate up with speed and i help out, not the organizer. Mike Shrewsberry and Frankie Doval sort of started this 4 years ago. Each year we get a little bigger, go a little faster and learn a little more. This started back when there were more boats without GPS speedos than with them and the lies were rediculous. It is still FREE and if you run your boat, you get a free t shirt. If it continues to grow we will need a lot more help. The first year, it was a few nuts and a RADAR gun, and speeds of 110, now it is 30+ boats several hundred on the dock at Timms II (The fine host restaurant/Bar), tow boats, rescue squad with diver and speeds over 150. Not bad for the redneck riviera HAR

Anyone know what speeds the Fountain with purple & pink grafics in post #3 2nd pic?

I think he ran in the mid 90's. Not sure though
