A group of us went last year. That weekend a pretty good size storm rolled in on us. It's a good run but way out of my league. If you can't run 80 mph in big water you better trailer to hawks cay. He had some people that did not want to ride back in the boat so they got the truck and trailer and drove back.

Big water isnt a problem! Is the run all offshore or some inland?

You can run the whole way inside if the weather and water arent cooperative

We run on the inside, in protected water pretty much the entire way from Miami to Duck Key.
