I do not know the area very well, can someone recommend a good boat ramp, and a safe place to leave the trailer for a couple days?

For the Ocean Marine Poker run I left mine at Portsmouth City Ramp on the recommendation of others. The seem to be nice ramps and I believe they are patrolled. I will be dropping there again for the Rendezvous.

The location is easily gotten to right off the interstate and then you just head northeast out the canal, bend to the right slightly and waterside is RIGHT there on the left. What time are you thinking of launching?
