• FRIDAY MAY 16th. PRE-POKER RUN RAFT UP. In Sailors’ Cove at Bernard’s Landing. Starts at NOON Friday. Food will be provided by the CLUB. Everyone is welcome. Friday Night there is a poker run party at the Bridge. DON'T even start your boat if you've been drinking...DGIF & USCG will be out for sure. AND for the record...we usually see a couple sobriety check points on the roads...so pick a DD.

The SML Laker Magazine will be attending the Friday raft up for an upcoming story on the SMLPBA. They are planning on taking a lot of pictures and will be interviewing participants. Try to get there and be tied up by 2PM. So you can have your boat in the magazine.

The USCG Aux. will also we offering vessel inspections. These are free to anyone who would like one and they only take a few minutes. When you pass, you will get a sticker of certification. This has proven to help alleviate additional "on water" stops by DGIF. Finally, anyone who shows to the raft-up will receive a $0.15/gallon GAS DISCOUNT CARD, good for the entire weekend (5/16-18) at Mitchell's Point Marina. Compliments of the SMLPBA.

The weather is lookn great for the run, but the raft up is not lookn good at all, so, is there a plan for Friday if its pouring rain ?
