Shawn, When are you planning on heading to the lake? I am going either Thursday evening or Friday am. Will probably be traveling with Barry and Kathy. This will be the third year I have tried to make this trip. I just hope nothing keeps me here this time. I will be going solo. Carol is going to Va. Beach for the Beach Music festival. It's her annual girls trip.
Curti - I have never been to the lake, but if you want to meet somewhere on the road, we can do that.

Hey Jay! Hope you can make it this year...this is really is a nice time.
I usually leave Thursday however, our baby sitter arrangements were not as flexible this year so I am leaving first thing Fri morn. I want to be checked in, boat in and beer in hand by noon

4 weeks - Can't wait, need to plan the trip up for the Aylett, Tappahannock crowd, say Food Lion, Aylett @ 7:30

As you know the SMLPBA wants to make sure all performance boaters visiting SML for the poker run have a great and safe weekend. It addition to the raft-up and parties we have worked out a little deal which relieves the pain at the pump for the poker run weekend. They have both 93 and 87 octane. Special Discount cards that are good for the WEEKEND will be given out at the SMLPBA raft-up.

Thanks for the reply, Shawn. I have been invited to stay with Barry and Kathy. We are going to get together soon to discuss travel plans. Maybe we can all make the trip up together. I'm really looking forward to going.

Can't make it this year due to other obligations but really hope to make it next year. We want to start doing at least 1 new run per year.
