The 13th Annual Oshkosh Thunder Poker Run June 13 & 14 on Lake Winnebago is going to ROCK this year. We are excited to have the fastest V-Hull in the world at the event, along with a possible visit from one of the fastest turbine boats in the world. Brad Zastrow will also make a showing with his 42 MTI with 1300 Sterlings, along with a slew of big hardware. There will be (3) choppers in the air for video and pictures with Extreme Boats Magazine covering the event. We still have a few spots left. Check us out at www.OshkoshThunder.com. What time are the groups leaving the Pioneer on Sat morning.
We will be out on the lake wathching in our 27 fountain and then over to the Harbor Bar and Stretches.

Looking forward to it. Fred Nielsen told me he is coming with his new 36 Skater with twin 1550 Sterlings. Worlds fastest V-hull will be there as well. Mike Lovergine is ready to rock in his Fountain.

I think breakfast is around 7:30--8 am. They usally get out on the boats at 10:30AM. Be there early to get launched and ready. Mark Lee will know for sure.

back in 2005 there where about 60 boats. i was about the 7th fastest running high 90s. so this year i went out and bought a new boat that will run about 120mph. i was feeling pretty good till i read about some of the baots being this year. i iwill be lucky to be in the middle of the pack. i will say i do love to see boats fly on the water. nothing is more humbling than doing 120 and have some one fly by at 160 mph . so i am really looking forward to seeing some of these boats!!!

If JBS shows up with the turbine boat we might see what 200 looks like. I can remember a few years ago in Oshkosh running 108 mph in my outboard cat thinking this is fast and then the 40 Skater called Sorcerer screams by. That was really cool. I get a kick seeing big hardware on the same water at the same time. Let hope all the rains ends before next weekend.

It all starts on Friday at noon when people start checking in.
All the acttion will be at Sweetwater Performance Center - downtown Oshkosh on the river.
Sponsor displays and dinner (7:00) will be at the marina inside
Then we mingle and talk boats until?

The Saturday basic schedule is:
8:00-9:30 Breakfast
9:30 Manadatory Drivers Meeting - get first card
10:30 National Anthem - 'Gentleman, Start your engines'
10:45 Helicopters go up for start of the Poker Run
11:00-4:30 Poker Run with lunch stop at about 12:30 - 1:00
5:00 Back home to get last card
7:00-? Awards dinner

Sunday Optional Wolf River Cruise startijng at 10-11:00

Thanks for the posts, Brad. I was wondering if Feddy was coming up with the Skater. I talked to him about a month ago, and they were working on it. Can't wait to see it. Red Fish will be playing Jamaican tunes again for the lunch stop. Ya Mon!

Just saw the weather for Oshkosh. Friday 76 and partly cloudy. Saturday - 79 and sunny. Awesome!
