Rob , I am not sure of your comments or what exactly you mean by them . This is not about feelings getting hurt . Its about trying to get information (the correct information) out there. A informed person is better that a uninformed person. I admit ,this got out of hand and went down the wrong road. But , the person representing this run was the wrong spokesman to have . All it would have taken is just a little time and effort to let out the correct information and we would have been better informed.I think that makes sense. I also hope people realize that local performance boaters just want to protect there right to continue to use there waters.Time will tell. I wish you guys the best of luck and I hope that it turns out great.

I'm happy to anounce that we will be in attendance at the poker run and look forward to seeing everyone there and supporting the event.
Our boat is up in Ohio getting a face lift but we received an invite today from Donzi and will be onboard the orange Donzi 38ZRC with 700's with Craig Barrie at the helm. I'm really looking forward to meeting Craig and navigating for him and hope to learn a few pointers from a real pro.
See you guys there.

What a good read, glad to hear the local and responsible boaters sounding their concerns. I personally am amazed we still have the opportunity to run poker runs on inland lakes as heavily populated as Lake Norman. PRA support is great as they do have a great track record, but with them also comes very heavy artilery and people who don't know the lake. I can see concern when running on such a closed course such as this. I wish it well as I have plans to move to the LKN area one day soon...take away performance boating however and there'll be no draw for me.
Keep it safe everyone, we do NOT need a Lake Cumberland repeat.
