Hello to all , Boaters,Poker Runners & Friends
The RPBA would like to let everyone know that the 2009 Jammin on the James Poker Run registration get together will be this Saturday, Janurary 10th. Anyone that would like to come by and enter or just hang out is more than welcome.
We will start at 6:00 p.m. and will go until , who know's???? So bring your favorite beverage and be prepared to talk boating and what's new for 2009

won't be in town on the 10th.. How can we register without driving 4 hours and still make the main dock..

Emails will go out that day with registrations attached. Get it in the mail early that next week and you'll make the main dock. Last year it took about a month to fill the main dock although interest in 2009 already seems higher than last winter.....and the other spots aren't exactly bad either!!

The main dock houses approx 50 boats which is roughly 1/2 the fleet. Several options have been discussed over the years but first-come, first-serve has been the best option. (Sponsors being the exception as they get good slips period) Registrations go out in the next couple weeks. Registrations recieved in the first week or 2 have always made the main dock......I believe last year the main dock was full in about 5 weeks.

The main dock is where most everyone wants to be. It is not bad if you don't make it onto the main dock, it is only a 200 foot walk from the other slips, so don't think if you are not on the main dock that you will not have a good time. Everyone that has done it for years has always had a great time.
I will say that if everyone enters that say they are coming we should have a sell out this year.

The new forms aren't out yet. If we have your email address, check it 1-10. An email will go out with info and the 2009 entry forms. Get it filled out and in the mail Monday and you should be fine.....I was suprised to see Steve's mesage about the 50 spot main dock being filled in 12 days though.....the increased interest this year should make this an even better event than ever!!!!!!

The 2009 Registration forms will be out on Janurary 10th. You can go to our website and print the form from there.
