NPBA's MILFORD LANDING POWERBOAT POKER RUN 9-10-11
NPBA's Milford Landing Powerboat Poker Run 9-10-11 will replace the Glen Cove Poker Run.
Yes, it is tough to get a drink at Steamboat Landing Restaurant these days, they are closed....so we are moving 'up' the sound to a new location, adjacent to Bridgeport...Milford Lisman Landing.
The course will go to Port Jefferson, then to Branford Yacht Club and return to Milford Lisman Landing.... a 55 mile run.
There will be a $2,500.00 purse, donated by Bean Mountain Coffee and Montano Motorsports.
(1st receives $1,250.00, 2nd receives $750.00 and 3rd receives $500.00) plus trophies for special awards.
The entry fee will be $300.00 and you will receive dockage and 2 hands in the game!
Extra hands will be available at $100.00 each.
Details are being finalized but the activities will start on Friday afternoon, Sept 9th and continue through Saturday 6 pm.
Sunday is the rain date.
There is a great ramp and rig storage at the site.
They say that 'change' is good...lets make it great!

Format/Itiniery Milford Poker Run 9-10-11
Our format will be the same as past Glen Cove events were...we do the run at 12 noon on Saturday and come back for a barbecue and open the cards right away and have the awards at 5 pm...so anybody that wants to make it a day-trip won't have to wait until night time for the awards.
We plan to have a band on Friday eve, a bar and food...so the locals will have a place to 'hang' and our participants who come in on Friday will have entertainment. We'll have boats on dislay, DVD's playing and a lot of boat-talk...maybe meet some new friends with a common interest...FAST Boats! We are certain to have some WORLD CHAMPION Boat Racers there, they tell good stories!
If anyone would like to display a boat-4-sale or have a 'booth' to display/sell items please contact me at 203-532-1312 or [email protected].
We have a room-block at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites...or you can stay on your boat Friday night at the marina...lets make this something 'SPECIAL'...
