Great news. Glad to hear the week switched since many of the Buffalo guys had a commitment in Canada the same week. We will be there for sure.

what was the reasoning behind that?? now everyone who prebooked their room from last year ( which is most the people who attend) will have to call and change their room. not only inconviencing the boaters but the hotels too. lets all hope the hotels have space available since they are mostly sold out for the whole summer months ahead of time

I agree, not cool, had the same room for the last ???years. Most of the summer they are booked, I will have to call this afternoon. I was hoping that it didn't change, but it looks like it is. Last minutes changes, never good

I don't think either of the motels open before April. I have never had any luck with leaving them messages.

Not sure what happened with the weekend mix up. I think Showboat does have rooms reserved for the 21st & 22nd weekend. I'll try to figure out 100% which weekend it really is. I know there are a lot of graduations around here on the 21st & 22nd.

I'll keep everyone updated.

We were told last year it was going to be the same weekend, the 21&22. It's always graduation weekend! Don't know why we would change.

Well first off im glad the poker run is a go. I also would like to mention these rooms are booked well in advance and we booked our rooms for the following year when we checked out. I dont just assume the date I verified it. I have been doing the same thing for the past 7 years as I waited to book one year and no rooms were available. It will be hard to have all the reservations changed this late in the year, as these hotels are booked for other events. So it would be nice to try to keep the original date.
Thanks

I think everyone agrees, along with the fact that some people have planned vacation time and other events for the following weekend. We need something set in stone so we can plan and start a new thread promoting the event. We don't want to plan on something that is in question.

Lets get on the same page, keep the same weekend, I don't think we can get the rooms for the weekend after, lost of older folks rent that weekend through 4th of July, so I think accomidations would be sparce

Yes we are all booked weekend before we have had same rooms from the 1st run till now. Maybe amp can call and change weekends for us all and those that cant make it can then cancel.
