I'm still waiting to hear back about rooms being changed to the 29th. I think the club officers were thinking that weekend last year and everyone booked for the previous weekend. Looks like more than likely it will be the 22nd. From the sounds of things half of you would like the 22nd, the other half the 29th. Maybe we should have two?!

AMP, Whats the story on this run? I want to make it up there for this event but I need to make plans. Did you happen to call the hotels yet and see if you were able to change the room reservations. If so great, now make sure you get a hold of all the employers Human Resource Departments of the people that put in for vacation time and see if you can change their time off. I know your super busy planning all those graduation party's but lets **** or get of the pot.

YES! This year's event will be June 21-June 23. We will do our best to keep everyone up to date thru OSO. Our next meeting is scheduled for the end of April and we will certainly have more info to offer everyone after.
Kelly O (Holy Cow) has volunteered to coordinate the dock reservations this year. Please give him a few days to receive the chart and email just sent to him and I am sure he will get right on it. They do not get paid......they work (and also have to put in for vacation time), most have children, ageing parents, and other outside activities that keep them just as busy as everyone else.
An event such as this takes time and quality volunteers to coordinate.
We work very hard before, during, and after the event to reach our goals. Our top priorities include raising money, insuring the safety of all who attend, and of course.....providing a great time for all who attend.....let's try to cut a little slack!

Maybe a lottery system would make dock selection more interesting ?
No, no, a qualifying session with a minimum speed to reside on the main dock............
HHhhhhmmmmmm.........where to set that minimum speed ?
