We've got several boats that are supposed to meet at or around the hunnington beach ramp at either 10 or 10:30 Saturday morning. Good times ahead

It's called Chippokes because it's on the shoreline of the historic Chippokes Plantation directly south across the river from Jamestown Island and near the Surry Power plant. Way back when it started due to ashore and up the trail the plantation grounds hosts the Pine Peanut & Pork festival. Boaters of course would come to one, walk up and checkout the festival and two, to hang in the water with the buds. Each year as the word and fun amped up more & more boaters including large cruiser boats, Hydrostreams etc. began to show and now it's reminiscent of a party event at Havasu except it's on the historic james River across from historic Jamestown along the shoreline of a historic plantation. On a chart it's on the shoreline of "Cobham Bay" Va. Plug it in on google earth and it takes you to it. The over night types start showing up Friday eve and will stay until Sunday. It's a solid two days of throw down.

We will be there, and this will be our 5th or 6th year straight! Just look for the 30ft Chaparral "Feelin Nauti" with the speakers mounted on top of the radar arch
Just signed up on this site and cant for the life of me figure out how to add a profile pic.

We are arriving at James River Bridge (Hunnington Ramp) at 10am with a couple boats. Anyone who wants to is welcome to follow us out if you aren't sure where to go!

Look forward to seeing you CB, sounds like we should have 5 or 6 boats leaving at that time. I think last count we may have 12-14 people on feelin nauti. Going to be a great day. Just don't ask me to drive lol
