After watching the video I am making sure to attend this event next year...that looked like a total blast.

It was !! Weather was close to perfect. Ocean had 2-3 footers, just enough chop to make it interesting but not too much to make it uncomfortable for the smaller boats. The inlets are always an experience. We had a really good turnout and a really great group of guys. Best day of the summer so far.

Very nice pics and video. Im jealous. This run is definitely a consideration for next year budget willing..

After watching that video from the chopper I remember why I boat on the north shore. One false move and I am out $2400 in props.

Yeah, but you haven't lived until you've gone out Fire Island Inlet in 6 footers, picked up a mammoth wall of water on your bow and watch it roll towards you like a tsunami when you go up the front of the next breaker..... exhilarating and makes you want to soil your undergarments at the same time...

True true. But I have stuffed my share of boats up north also. Almost sank. I was talking about the shallow waters in the bay
