damn. thatll be 1000$ just to enter not including gas. ever think to lower the entry price/crew cost and youll actually fill the number of slots? I can drive to the midwest, run a poker run, and drive home for less than it would cost me to do this run on my local body of water.... i think other than the big boys, your going to have alot of powerboaters sitting back and watching rather than entering

You are looking at $650 for driver and navigator
and if you have additional guess it will cost them 150 each

if you register before April 30th it will cost you $ 550 for driver and navigator and your first additional guess will be at $75

I feel that most runs i have been on are all fairly similar in price and with the waters that 1000 islands have to offer this is well worth it. And if your towing to the midwest for less then a $1000 then you need to let your secret out because we have been doing it all wrong! The early registration idea does help out though!

we were going to participate to help get the run going in clayton but it seems like the same old alex bay run this year...

Ok so what are the details of the Shoot Out and how will the King/Queen be decided.

Poker run fever

For the shootout since it is the first year, we are looking at what would be the best and safest scenario. Probably based on a kilo distance which is under 1 mile. We are open at suggestion to develop the best experience as possible that will help to make it popular and grow for the coming years.


For the King of the 1000 Islands , the winner will be declare at the Kingston event.
Coming up soon, more complete details will be released on how you will be able to qualify to become the king of the 1000 Islands.

Poker runners participating in both the Canadian 1000 Islands Poker Run August 20 and the US 1000 Islands Alex Bay Poker Run July 22 will have a chance to be crowned the KING (QUEEN) OF THE 1000 ISLANDS by winning with the best card hand.
