Portman has multiple ramps. Big water has one but it is a very deep ramp. Which could be useful since water level could be an issue. Hartwell is currently 9 feet down. I scouted Big Water this past weekend. As I pulled into marina I was in 60 feet of water. All the docks had 30 feet. There was also plenty of open slips for people that will be leaving in water.

The lake is trending up. We are 7.5 down. Don't let water level concern you. The corp actually does a good job marking the channels and Hartwell is a deep lake.

Went by Big Marina and wow the new owners are upgrading like crazy. All new wood on docks. With big big plans to expand. They have really cleaned place up. It looks great.
With all rain we have gotten lake is trending up. By weekend should only be 6 foot down. Less than 30 days. Man time flies.

The Eric Scott band will be playing at big water marine Friday and Saturday night. Food and drinks will be available. Friday after the fun run to Clemson for lunch. We will have a luau party on the beach beside big water marina. Everyone's welcome so come out for a great weekend

Will there be a capt meeting Friday night ? Cause after the Friday night party getting to drivers meeting at 10am can be a little difficult.

Excited about the venue. For those of us that beach the boat. The sandy beaches at Big Water are a lot better than the mud pit at Portman. And the cove area for the luau is a very protected deep cove. Perfect place I cant wait.

There will also be a meet and greet party down town anderson Thursday night so come out meet some new people . Enjoy some food and drinks in the local bars and restaurants
