The REAL Emerald Coast Boat Week and Poker Run!
We are the better than ever "Big One!" Please come to the 26th annual Emerald Coast Boat Week and Poker Run August 8-11. We are the ORIGINAL and REAL Emerald Coast Poker Run. Our founders started this event over 25 years ago for the sole purpose of raising funds for local youth charities. We are still a completely volunteer board and organization with the same purpose. We know how to host a poker run for all boat types. We did it long before bringing in a vendor. We are FREE of that vendor, and are going to have the best and safest Emerald Coast Poker Run ever! Registration is easy and reasonably priced at $295 per boat, for ANY boat. That includes the "Gulf to Gulf" Run for the big boys Friday, the regular run for everyone Saturday, and all the awesome parties in between! You know what, you are right. That was not a good way to phrase it. We have had a long great history with the members of the FPC. Some of our board members are past FPC members. FPC members have donated to our cause every year and we are incredibly grateful. We meant no disrespect to them at all, and we apologize if it came off that way. We hope to see them at Emerald Coast Boat Week and Poker Run this year. We had a business partnership with the leadership of FPC. That relationship was mutually dissolved. There has been a lot of untrue and ugly things said about us publicly by FPC leadership. All we want to do is have a GREAT event and raise money for our charities. That has always been the goal. According to the rules listed on their website, this version of the run will have a "speed limit" of 75 max and 50mph in congested areas. Just a heads up for anyone who would have a concern since it hasn't been mentioned and would almost appear to be hidden unless you really go looking for it.
