Poker Run UPDATE:
FYI, this run is a KID friendly poker run and again all size (and speed) boats are welcome.

Docking:
We have had enough interest that there will be a number of boats docking for the Friday (the 16th) and Saturday night (17th) at the all new Burlington Harbor Marina. Please call the General Manager, Bob Hensley at 802-540-6869 for reservations and mention the Lake Champlain Poker Run for a discount and to be grouped together. Please HURRY though as spots are filling up fast. AND>>>Attention Local boaters and group members of the Lake Champlain Performance Boaters, WE WANT YOU!! lol. It would be awesome to have you join us at the docks Friday and Saturday. Make a weekend of it as we welcome our new friends coming from out of town. As the interest grows for docking downtown, we are now recommending Hotel reservations at the Hilton downtown Burlington Hotel 802-658-6500 (only minutes walk from the Burlington Harbor Marina) or Hotel VT 802-651-0080. We do have secure truck and trailer parking in the down town area. Please PM us for details.

Launching your boat: There are many options on Lake Champlain for launching your boat. The 2 predominant boat launches in the area of either start is the aforementioned Colchester Mallets Bay Access area (where many local boaters will typically launch from) with a fair amount of parking (and typically security has not been an issue in that area). The other launch is next to the Coast Guard station in downtown Burlington right next to the Burlington Harbor Marina (with limited parking and thus the reason for an alternate secure private location requiring PM for details).

Friday FUN Run, If you are local or from out of town and interested in a Friday FUN Run, let us know. We have lots of folks in the area that would love to guide a group to one of our many fun destination spots on the lake. I'm hearing rumors a few local boaters are taking Friday off for just that purpose. Perhaps a northern tour of the lake (Naked Turtle, North Hero as options come to mind) while Saturdays run takes us south on the lake.
ALSO, at the very least, there will be several of us launching our boats on Friday late afternoon between 3-5pm with the intent of running down to Burlington Harbor Marina to dock up for the weekend. If you are interested let us know and we would love to have you join us.

ROUTE CHANGE:
1st CARD stop: With the 2 start groups coming from Colchester and Burlington at the same time leaving at 11AM respectively to meet at North West corner of Valcour Island (LOOK for CARD Boat with sign) we've decided to make a slight change to the route.
2nd CARD stop: We will now leave Valcour at 11:45 to head to the southern most point of Willsboro Bay NY. (LOOK for CARD Boat with Sign).
3rd CARD stop: From Willsboro Bay we will travel out of the bay then immediately turn south to head towards Thompsons point in Charlotte VT and meeting CARD Boat just out from Point Bay Marina (Charlotte VT).
Final CARD stop and Lunch: From there we will travel Further south to Westport NY where we will have Lunch and our final card stop. Watch for navigation details as we get closer to the event.

Thanks, We look forward to seeing everyone on the 17th!!
