July 17 the Northern Illinois Offshore Club( NIOC) is having our annual Thunder run on the Chain Of Lakes , lots of fun, its Blarney Gras weekend also, 1st place last year was $500.00 ( i won) , check the boat club section here, NIOC for more details as the date gets closer

Update on the Chain of Lakes Thunder run, it starts and ends at Joey Ts on the fox river in mchenry, plenty of parking w/ room to raft off for the larger boats , meet at 9:30 am. dinner at 5pm $75 .00 for non members $60.00 for members , w/ that you get 1 hand of cards, 2 meals ( itailan dinners) 1 shirt, full day of fun ,photographer will be onsite, helicopter is in the works, 50 boat limit register early, have roughly 14 boats already. Its Blarny Gras out at blarney island that weekend , added plus !!
