my Gen Mgr owned the Smokin' 33 and another 33 outboard recently and i'm pretty fond of the single 28's and 25 outboards, in fact I came within a hairs breath of buying both the 33 open/500 boat 2 years ago in Pompano and the 25/twin 300 outboard open boat in Miami myself.. should have really bought that 33...

Yes and that way they would have been maintained by yourself,The 25 Outboards have a cult following ,one member Powerplay 25 has a nice boat as does his friend who bought Dannys personal 25 outboard sportdeck, cool boat and easy for one guy to take care of. as I recall there were 12- 28's built and the singles not many a rare boat.

It was one of the only if not the only 33 with sporty shorties and PowerPlay hadn't performed a set-up on it yet. Steve1, please correct me if I'm wrong but I know JROMY and his boat well. Plus it's going to do well in the slop, these aren't lake boats. My hull didn't come to life unless it was choppy out. If someone smokes me in the flat I could care less, I bought it for it's rough water performance and predictable handling.
I believe Ozzies boat also had shorties in it when it had the big motors.
