Yes the old "pedal pusher" boat, has carbed 572's and #4 drives. Also has 5 bolsters with drop away seats which would be awesome for poker runs.
Thanks for the kind words Rob! I remember your boat, I think I have a picture of us tied up there

I think your closest comparison would be a 32 AT... But another thing to consider is that from 2005-2011 and even to this day, not a whole lot of new offshore boats are being made, the demand is coming back a little but not what it was, and the cost of building new now is astronomical. The used prices have steadied and maybe even risen some in the past couple years. If only I could go back to 2010 when all the killer deals were around!!
I love the 38 PP but the 42 Chief at 159K is also a lot of boat for the money as well!

If I had a serious buyer and a way to come up with the difference then I would in a heartbeat! Believe me the gears have been turning but I'm not refinancing my house to buy it lol (although its very tempting)

I will tell you that my buddy that built the black 38 loved the boat (10,000 nautical miles on it in less than 4 years) but the boat he talks about more was his previous 33 Powerplay with outboards! He would rather have that boat today than the 38.......just a simpler boat, cheaper to own/maintain and just as much fun!

Ya the boat is about the perfect all around size for towing and still going on the great lakes... But really I think I need 750hp a side and scx's.... I know- never enough

Black boat had 525's (they were brand new back in 2003/04) and a nice upgrade over the 500 efi.

I could do whipples and stage 3 bravos from all-american outdrive but still lookin at 30k right there... Not including probably gen X headers at that point... Just want to be over 100, hard to do in a straight Vee
