I installed a fan in the cuddy on my boat. I showed it to a friend and she said I needed to share it here. For what it is worth:
I installed a fan in the cup holder. This made it so that I did not put holes in the interior of the boat anywhere. It also made it pretty easy. Home Depot has 4 inch pipe caps that fit on top of a cup holder exactly. I drilled a small hole in the holder for wires and a bolt. I ran the wires to a light for power. The install is very secure. Cost me not including the fan, about 2 bucks. Here are some pictures.
