Re: 270 lazer info
I have a 95 270 Laser with 454 Mag EFI and it does 56 - 58 depending on how much fuel on board. A friend of mine has a 93 Laser with 502 carb and he claims he is good for 62 and has seen 67. I think 67 might be dreaming. I am pretty sure his prop is a 23 Mirage, not a plus.

Re: 270 lazer info
My 99 270 Laser will run 60-62mph with 454 mag and Revolution 4 blade 21 pitch prop. Likes to be trimed down with the four blade unless it's smooth. Handle's the rough good. The 270 hull gives you a dry ride. I've had mine going on two years it's been a great boat no problems.

Re: 270 lazer info
We had a 93 270 with a 454 Mag EFI (385hp). The boat would run around 58-60 on the speedo. We did not have a GPS on the boat. If the boat has a carb. 502 I would expect about the same speeds. We ran a 23 pitch Mirage through a 1.5 Bravo One. I cannot remeber the engine speed. I do remember it was within the Merc. recomended range.
I would be curious that the boat has a carb. 502 in 1993. THe 502 was the first EFI engine and came out in 1992. Is this the original motor ?
I think the 270 is one of PQ's better boats. In 1993 Todd and Kevin were running the comapany. In my oprionion the boats built in this time frame were the best boats PQ ever built. I thought they were going to give Formula a run for the money. Fit, finish, customer service, etc, etc.
