I bought a new wheel from Trick a couple months ago, but never installed it. Looks like the new wheel has slightly different bolt pattern than the stock Momo wheel. Assuming this means I'll need a new hub (more bling for me!). However, I've never pulled or installed a wheel hub, so how do you do it? Any special tools required? And what length hub should I buy?

I had to use a puller to get mine off. You maybe able to pull the center cap and than remove the nut that hols the assembly on and tap on the end of the steering shaft with a hammer while someone pulls on the wheel. Just be careful not to mess up the threads. You really just need to tap lightly and it should come right off. If not spray it with some WD40. Pending on the wheel you bought, you may have a different pattern. Grant wheels are a lot different than the Momo design. If you need a hub , I'd run back through Trick to make sure you get the right one.

I used a 4 inch gear puller over the steering wheel to get my hub and wheel off together. If you bought a dino wheel, you'll need a different hub or an adapter. More bling for you.

The pattern is definitely different. Took a chance when I bought it by not buying the hub at the same time, now I get to pay shipping twice. Should've known better...

I could only find 3" hubs compared to the 2" that is stock. Actually puts the wheel in a better location when you are in your bolster.

I put a new dino wheel on the standard factory hub. Had to drill new holes in the hub as existing holes were just a hair off. Kept the original Momo center cap too. Looks fantastic.

I'm thinking of buying a new steering wheel as well. My original is the white Momo. I like the Dino with the black at 3 & 9. Does Momo make one like this? If so is the price a lot higher? That way I could use my existing hub. I may end up doing new hub and wheel but just looking at options.
Thanks!

JUST BUY THE DINO. MOMO DOES NOT MAKE A WHEEL WITH THE BLACK GRIPS.
Easy to mount, just re drill new holes in the existing hub.
This is what it looks like.
