Default 99 Vyper X dimension

Has anyone played with the X dimension on a Vyper? I am thinking of dropping my drives due to prop slip and wondered if anybody has tried this and what the results were.

No I haven't but I would go with a 1"spacer first and see if that does it. I had a 99 viper with about 23% slip and thoiught about the spacer but sold the boat.

Thanks- I am at about 24.5% slip and am thinking about trying the maximus 5 blades first before I mess around with dropping the drives. Does anybody have the correct X dimension for the Vyper?
