Re: 29 Powerquest Search
I had a 26 and now have a 28, cant see how you say the 28 is smaller, 27'7" vs 25'7" and the same beam, the cabin is almost identical, maybe a couple inches bigger, the swim platform is a couple inches longer, the rest of the difference is probably in the bow, it's a bigger boat.
I agree about the ride, the 26 may have been better in larger chop, but I'll take the extra 10 mph anyday. In honest 3-4' chop, either boat is not that good. Once you get used to the 28' it's a great boat.

From what I recalled the 26 & 29 had a larger cockpit as well as more freeboard. Don't get me wrong the 28 is a great boat!!
And I'll agree anything over 3ft makes for a rough ride unless you have the waterline. Bigger is always better!

Yep, I still have the 29 and love the boat. I have put 2 seasons on the boat with about 80 hours per season.
The enticer is a unique package, and is more roomier then many boats 5 feet longer in both the cabin and cockpit. As a result, when I start thinking about my next boat I keep coming back to the PQ after comparisons for the money.
For the boating I do, the enticer is the perfect match.

Re: 29 Powerquest Search
Hey fast forward, I have a '94 290 (I'm second owner 2 seasons ago) The only problem is it doesn't have any hour meters from the factory,(like many of them don't). It has carb 454's, I have put 1.8 roller rockers,Eddie Marine(red) valve covers, Polished flame arrestors, Many more extras !! I currently don't have any photos I can post, But on WWW.USEDBOATS.COM there is a '93 270 It has close to the same graffics, But my stripe is larger swoops up and down. The interior is really close, I have red steering wheel, EMI red ano. cup holders, And Polished billet covers on 4 - 61/4" speakers and 2 - 10" subs. Sounds great. Also brand new red lay in carpet! Hey, Let me know if you are still looking and if this will interest you.....Oh yeah..42,000...looking for a 34 viper.

Speedreeder, Thatnks for the offer, but I really want to stay with efi's.
Mike, I did get them and thanks again. I'll let you know what I decide. I do plan on taking a look at a few after the 1st of the year.
