Default 2001 280 Silencer

Might be selling the 280.This boat was the factory demo boat so it has everything.Full hyd steering from the helm back,10 disk changer, etc. It was a HP500 with a ZX ,now it's a 548 with a ZR .Just appraised for 68K three weeks ago.Sits on a new McClain alum trailer with the "salt water" package(all stainless hardwear)even thought I boat mostly in brackish/fresh water($7000).Too much to list in the engine,AFRs,custom cam, etc.Made 640 hp pulling all the accessories and wet headers set up by Mark Boos at Precision in NewOrleans(50 hrs on engine)Looking at 35 ZR with 525s. Boat runs 78-80 gps(Mark at precision saw 81 during set-up!!)Boat and trailer need nothing. Again,"might be selling",I really hate to loose her but I'm courious about "twins" What do y'all think? Also, because of the al. AFR heads,I installed closed cooling in order to run antifreeze in the engine.BOB

Sounds like a nice boat but why the DONZI. I had a Silincer for a couple of years ,nice unit but wanted more space and went to a 34 Viper. It also was nice but I soon went to the 38 Avenger to get the room I really wanted in a go fast. You may be crampeed in the ZR.
If space is important the Avenger has roooooom

Bob,
I just sold my 280 and I think my wife would kill for the 35ZR. It is a fine boat.

I pretty much got what I wanted. The guy that bought my house also bought my boat, so I did cut him a good deal.
