Default Weight of a PQ 26 on a trailer??

Just curious if anyone has ever weighed there 26 on a tandem axle steel trailer??? I'm guessing boat, 80 gallons of fuel, trailer and gear around 6500lbs??? Does that sound about right??

I would think 7K plus would be more in line. Easy enough to pull into a truck stop and weigh it.

I weighed my 280 last year with a full tank of fuel...6950 pounds on the stock trailer.

I belive the 26 weighs 4200lbs. What does the 28 weigh??? I decided to unload my Nissan Titan 1/2 ton due to very poor gas milage (12 in town 15 hwy) and issues as well. I put 30,000 miles on it in 1 year. I also have a new Nissan Pathfinder which in 07 was rated to pull 6000 lbs. The 08 now are rated for 7000 lbs. Can't see that they made any changes to the vehicle. We keep the boat at a marina which is 300 yards from the boat launch. I've never pulled the boat with the Pathfinder yet but am assuming it should do fine . Thus is why I ask. Pulling it with the new FJ is out of the question. But it would look good!!! When you can't buy a bigger boat, by a smaller tow vehicle to make the boat look bigger...

You might be under 7K then. For some reason I was thinking the 260 weighed 4,500 lbs.

My surveyor is getting conflicting reports on the dry weight of a 26. Some books say 4200 and others say 4800. He says he more leans more toward the boat weighing 4800lbs.

I have the original brochure on my boat and it states 4200. Hey it's even my boat in the brochure ,does that count?

I think my old 270 weighed around 4800. No matter what I would load it like you described and take it through the truck stop. Then you will know for sure. I don't depend much on the factory specs. I still scratch my head when I stand next to a friends 38 which is supposed to weigh 8500 lbs. I bet not.

Yeah, PQ lists the 38 at 8,500 lbs. Maybe without one motor/drive installed!!

If your pulling numbers off the website there all wrong. I can't believe its been nearly a year and the website still has all the incorrect info . Pretty sad!!!!!
