Bill, how'd you get a ride on the Donzi?
Greetings everyone!
I went to the Donzi booth(of course, just before closing on Thursday!) and they kinda gave me the brushoff when I asked about the F2 boat, like they didn't want to do demos with the one at the Marriott-maybe they were already booked up. Saw 'em running it Friday at 11 am , was that you, Bill?? We got a ride on the 46 Black Thunder, I gotta admit ,they've come a long way with those things, but I'd rather have the flat deck version. I was pretty impressed with thespeeds they're getting out of the Poker Run Edition, must be those Arneson rocker tabs and the new Merc Integrated Steering/extension box setup. Mine only runs 78 with 28" props and a bit more weight I'm sure!! I still like a windshield ,however. I have pictures of the show posted on my webshots site: http://community.webshots.com/user/boathead38
in the miami boat show album.
Check out my next boat(dream on), the 70' Buddy Davis A real ship with real iron MTU/Detroit 16V's 1480 hp each.
