Another 38 PQ is at the top of the list but a lot of nice 38 specials have come on the market for incredible prices lately so I am torn, since I want A/C and a genny and most of the PQs I see with those options are underpowered and do not have hydraulic steering so going up in power will be $$$$
It will really all come down to what my finaces look like when I sell the 29 and what is still on the market
thanks for spreading the word

They are not my favorite and Jim, your's is still at the top of my list but it is hard to pass up a 38sp with new 502s and all the options on a trailer, LOTO boat all its life for under 70, it caught my attention, but I am going to go from low 70s to low 60s when I wanted to end up at upper 70s
Just have to see the $$$$$ when it is time to make the deal and see what i can do
and yes the 38sp are not the pretiest girls at the dance

Christen, I can understand being tempted to go with the SP due to the low cost but can't see a guy with a boat like yours trading down to the Special. A couple of trips watching those rooster tails pass you buy won't sit well.
Have to tell you I looked at them for a short period of time prior to buying the 38. I passed as even my wife didn't like to look but I just couldn't settle for the lack of speed. It would take 800 HP to get that thing even close to 80.
Say how is the knee working out?

It is a very hard choice and the drop in speed makes me really anxious, I have been looking at 525s and XRs for the 38 but at that point why not just buy what I want up front and not deal with the hassle
what to do, what to do
It may all be a mute point if I can't make the 29 find a new home.
The knee is better, the PT is kicking my butt, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger , right
How are you doing with recovery?
