Powerquest Fans. Why should I buy a Powerquest 290 Enticer over
Baja 27-30 Outlaw
Fountain 27-30 Fever
Wellcraft 29 Scarab
Sunsation 288
Thank You

Baja 27-30 Outlaw - they're Out of business too, Sort of. Now kown as FaJa's, Heard they are related to Fountain
Fountain 27-30 Fever - it's a Fountain, Beaks look funny
Wellcraft 29 Scarab - Not Sure
Sunsation 288 - Doesn't have the comforts or wind shield

Just Kiddin, We just bout a 34' Vyper and love it. We ketp coming back to PQ as we wanted the cabin space, head room and comforts. Micro, frig & head.

I would first ask what is most important to you in a boat. Some of the boats you listed are not in the same class, i.e. the Sunny 288 is a single engine boat and the 290 PQ is a twin engine boat.

Cabin room cockpit room solid fit and finish, excellent ride and good speed, not the fastest but close.

I just picked up my new (to me) 2000 Powerquest 280 Silencer. That boat is awesome, I would take a definitely look at Powerquest.

The best answer is probably the most obvious one, you like it better than the rest of the boats you named off?, if not, spend your money and take your chances, you've obviously done research on what you want in a boat, so the best thing you can do is start going to dealers/individuals, look carefully at your choices, drive them if possible and make your choice and live with it. Everyone has different tastes/criteria in/for a boat so no matter what anyone says your best off to make up your own mind. Baja owners think theirs are great, ditto to Formula, Powerquest, Fountian owners or anyone else. I personally found Formula's and Powerquest to be most to my liking and very similar in style fit and finish although not as fast as say a Fountain and found Baja's to be the most reasonably priced in the used market.
