How fast do you guys think a 1999 38' PQ will run with 496's.

depends on how bad PQ screwed up the bottom.

I was on boat trader last night and couldn't belive the deals out there. Did you by chance see this 38?? Seems like a killer deal!

I've seen that one for sale for at least 2 years. The small engines don't help. It would be a struggle to get 70 mph out of her.

I was thinking upper 60's - 70 tops. I've been on a '99 380 with 525SC's and 12" boxes and with fresh roller cams and Hydro 5-blades it ran 77 MPH.

That don't sound very fast for all that hardware. I've got 74.1 mph documented on my Garmin with stock 502s and lab 28p B1s.
