On my own. Send my boat back to the factory in 2000. Had the bottom blueprinted and 4' of the outside strakes remove. I probably got the faster 38 with 500efi's in it then most people would think. It is a strong 80mph boat with throttle left in it. I have a top speed on the gps tale-tail speedometer of 82mph. Anyone want to run me I will prove it. I have two strong blue motors that aren't afraid of running. Only thing in them is the mystery oil.
I was at the factory when they were repairing/grinding off the last portion of the inner strakes.big improvement but not what a 2002 hull is.
as far as running your fast /faster 380 on the planet,
who knows one day you may have to stand behind your words and prove it to us ,and if it is great,it is what it is.
I quarantee you one thing Ill be right next to you
