i agree with uncle dave...whatever you do,make sure your engine is healthy...at 300 hours,you should freshen up the heads,with new springs..that would give you a chance to look at the bores

I just bought the boat a few months ago and the previous owner just had the heads re done and had it re ringed. I saw the paper work from the service shop, I assume hes telling the truth. "hopefully" The heads are a differend color so i know thay have been off. I appreciate everybodys advice. Its got me a little scared now. I might just go with a ECU program and be happy with a good sounding good looking smooth riding boat that runs 70. But if it did blow up id still be in it good. I bought it in the middle of a divorce from a couple and payed $22.000. I think it was a great buy. Thanks again!!!

I hurt my motor one year and lost most of the summer having it rebuilt.
Never will I be without another motor as backup playing in the high performance arena......
