I'm running 1,000 hp in mine and will be ordering Bravo 1's in 28" pitch. I ran 26" B1's this past season and was able to get up to 78mph at about 53-5400 rpm. I am hoping for 80 mph with the 28's. I believe all 290's chine walk and I am by far not very adept at it but am able to reasonably steer out of the chine walk. Not sure if the tabs are the answer but keep us posted.
