Powerquest was PowerPlay it started as PowerPlay then there was a lawsuit from Power Play out Florida and they had to change the name to Powerquest but it's the same boat same company same owners,

they fought it for a little while because their defense was that the company was PowerPlay, one word were the company in Florida was Power Play two words ,so in their mind it was two different companies, but at the end they lost

during the lawsuit, they're boats came out of the factory with both names on them PowerPlay and powerquest , at the end they had to change to strictly Powerquest

So this weekend I got the port engine running and seems strong, the starboard is still seized (I think earlier I said the wrong engine was froze) and it’s not looking good for it. I tried to post a video but it seems beyond me. I pulled the nasty fabric out of the cuddy, YUCK. I am looking for interior options suggestions for replacement material. I believe this started from where the railing on the deck comes through so I’ll caulk that really good from above when I reinstall.

You can't post a video on here direct. You'll need to put it out on YouTube, etc. and then post the link.

Thanks tommymonza

Good news the Seizioness has been resolved. I can spin the motor over by hand now. Next on the list is to replace the sea pump impellers and the exhaust tips as I only have one internal flap out of the four.

Anyone have a go to for ordering marine parts? I was looking at Hardin marine as it looks like they have just about everything.

Swellcraft,

So, what was the root of the seizioness?

Thanks. Brad.

Thanks Brad.
I believe the rings were stuck to the cylinder walls from sitting for however long, it was last registered in 2015. It still may not be any good but at least I can turn it over by hand now.

Thanks
Brad

Both engines are up and running. This weekend I replaced both sea pump impellers which look like they were overdue. Today I’m working on adding the Hardin-marine slip on exhaust flaps. The wet exhaust hose was a PITA to get off so I can’t imagine what it’s going to take to get them back on.
