After installing Sportmaster's 2" shorter from Max Werks.
Top speed 94GPS, no faster no slower. I will install 1" spacers this weekend to see if any change.
So far:
02 380 HP500EFI w/ITS, no.30 lab finished 4-blades= 81 GPS
New Whipplechargers .................................................. 91 GPS
Hydromotive no. 31 5 Blades .......................................94 GPS
Sportmaster's 2" shorter [no change]...........................94GPS
Next I will slip my no. 30's back on, and send out the 5-Blades to Lab finished.

Congratulations, has to be the quickest 380 I've heard about. As I recall, your boat is fully loaded. It ran in the 01 cincy poker run. Even Rod's @ RPM marine with custom motors wasn't running 94GPS. A friend ordered his 02 31 Sonic w/575's & sportmasters. The sportmasters were off in a month in favor of stock lowers. He said the boat would barely plane and was squirley over 85. Saw 0 speed change when he reverted back. Must be awfully dependent on hull design.

After doing some testing with the sportmasters on a 525EFI boat (the boat on the cover of april powerboat), the stock bravo gearcase was better across the board. If you gained 3mph with the 5 blades, i would guess you want more "bite". Try spacing your stock bravo's 1" and running the 30's.

I haven't measured the X-demension, or prop centerline.
I have no problems bring the boat on plain. I really don't even need to use the trim tabs. This is totally due to the 5 blade's.
I purchased the boat at the Lauderdale Boat show in 01, and took delivery in January or February 02.
